Observations debunked!

This session will be split across two days with 2.5 hour zoom sessions,

23/05/2023 and the 06/06/2023,

9:30am - 12:00pm for both sessions.

- Are your observations an effective use of your time?

- Do they inform your program?

- Do they increase your understanding of each child’s learning?

- Can they be shared with the child, family and community?

In this session we will unpack and articulate the purpose of observations, gain insight into the when, how and what to notice and write about children, discover strategies to ensure meaningful observations that meet the NQS requirements and explore examples of documentation that highlight the learning journey.

Strengthen your ability to make the learning visible for the child, family and the community, determine what type of observations are worth spending time on and what process will work best for your setting.
