‘Becoming’ a new director - four part series

This session will be split across four sessions (dates listed below) with 3 hour zoom sessions, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm for all sessions.

It can be really exciting taking on a new leadership role. It can also be a time of uncertainty and doubt. In these sessions, we will introduce you to some of the theories of leadership that will help you get started successfully in your new position. Knowing more about these theories gives a strong base from which to make your reflective decisions.

We will help you be aware of the responsibilities and demands that you will need to manage and help you connect with resources that will make this work more achievable. Through building networks with others beginning their leadership journey, you will gain confidence, support, networking and information.

We will look further into responsibilities of Directors and how to manage your time, resources and people. Leading through periods of change is always challenging and we will explore ways to guide your reflective practices in planning your response to change.
