How to introduce visuals!
Visuals are considered a useful tool to support children’s communication and behaviour. However, what makes visuals effective and what is the best way to introduce them? Where do we begin? This session, has been specifically developed for educators to better understand the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of visuals. Participants will explore: the benefits of visuals for all children, commonly used visuals and where to find them, how visuals can support different areas of development, embedding visuals into practice, practical strategies and alternative strategies to visuals.
