Floorbooks: Key Features and Strategies

The floorbook is a child centred, interactive form of documentation and responsive planning tool that supports all types of learning and play inside, outside and beyond. We will identify the key features that make a floorbook a floorbook and learn about some key strategies that support the implementation of floorbooks when planning with and for children. Using floorbooks to document both learning and teaching empowers educator teams to develop curriculum that is relevant to children and families in their local context.
