Working with parents to support early literacy in the everyday
This engaging session will explore how to promote literacy skills in three-year old children (and beyond) in order to build language development through everyday experiences, routines and interactions. There are so many ways to support early literacy development in a play-based curriculum!
Find out how to support families in practical ways from story times to shopping and using these everyday moments to enrich their child’s learning. Gather insights into resources that you can use with children in your program and resources for families to enrich home literacy learning.
