Spend the morning looking at principles of marketing, which will help you to analyse your service strengths. Learn about how to increase your service visibility within the community and the systems/processes that support your service viability. Leave with a marketing plan that you can implement for your service.
Using digital media as part of your strategy
Build on the morning’s session by exploring digital and social media as part of your marketing strategy. Look at different social media platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram. Explore their purpose and possibilities for promoting your service, from set up through to monitoring and maintenance. Considerations around privacy, policy and responsibilities will be explored. You will have the opportunity to reflect on your current website and review websites from the sector in order to ensure your website tells your story.
