Understanding older children's behaviour (OSHC focus)

Society ‘expects’ children to establish acceptable behaviour patterns and educators are often faced with the problem of how best to support children with behaviour we find challenging. We often search for strategies or answers, rather than considering what we may change or do differently. This session will inspire and motivate you to support children in understanding their behaviour while helping you achieve your goal of building strong relationships with children in your OSHC service. We will utilise the principle of reflective practice (DEEWR 2009) to enhance your work in this area.
