Integrated Infant and Toddler

From their first day with us, children are supported by the Primary Caregiving model. Each integrated infant toddler room employs a core team of educators, led by experienced Team Leaders and our Educational Leader – Infant Toddler Programs.

We employ a mix of degree and diploma qualified educators, all of whom are encouraged to continue their learning through attendance at professional development courses and further study.

We treat child safety and wellbeing as a paramount consideration. We ensure that each morning your child is dropped off, they will be greeted by a familiar educator who you can trust to follow their cues, meet their needs, and listen attentively to their cues – both verbal and nonverbal.

From the time your child begins their time with us, there will only be one transition from our infant toddler learning space to our kindergarten space.

We value risk and challenge and see the youngest members of our society as capable and confident.

Each infant toddler room has its own well-maintained natural outdoor and homely indoor spaces for your child to explore at leisure.

The quality of our learning environment hinges on small groupings and higher educator:child ratios. We have found that children across a span of ages acquire knowledge and skills from one another. In particular, children learn about empathy and respect for each other, and bring a diverse range of ideas and learning to the group.

We sustain child engagement and involvement by planning for ongoing inquiry topics – following the interest of your child and their peers at whatever stage of development they are at.

Educators share the beautiful moments of your child’s day by documenting in Floorbooks and writing Learning Stories. These are shared via our online app and treasured in your child’s Learning Portfolio.

We supply the everyday essentials for you – so all you need to bring is your child and a bag of spare clothes.

Our chefs make home-cooked meals for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, and children are invited to participate in cooking and gardening experiences.

Throughout the year, we plan social events for families and educators to network with one another, and “Cuppa and Chats” to allow conversations between families and educators about your child’s learning and development.
